Stop Complaining

This will be so short. But oh so sweet.

A recent conversation with a friend (who happens to be an ordained nun in the Tibetan tradition who is self-sufficient, refused to be subjugated by a male-dominated tradition and 78 years old… but she deserves her own blog post so I’ll put a pin in that)…

While discussing the next subject for the Sangha Meeting, I was reminded of how fortunate I was to have had the even slightest hint of conceit nipped in the bud quite abruptly by all of my teachers… Tear jerkingly wrenched out of me… unapologetically and ruthlessly torn down…

Fortunate you say…

Yep!

My friend the Nun quotes perfectly “You asked your teacher to help to strip away your ego, so don’t complain when they do it”.
